i went to japan in july one year, and the heat and humidity was brutal. (almost as bad as the philippines can get). i remember just wearing shorts and tees the majority of the time, and stopping into stores and eateries just to beat the heat. hopefully it won't be as bad when you go, but be prepared. either way have fun! and honestly i didn't have a bad meal in japan.

any tips on starting content creation? how do you get gigs, and how do you price it? i'm not a youtuber, but i used to be an instagrammer / photographer. the most i ever did back then, was maybe get some free bags, etc. but, i wouldn't mind starting a side hustle.

Planning to head to Japan to Fly FPV primarily on the east coast (the Go3S - 4K is a big deal). I have been waiting to try the Go series. I am familiar with Insta360 action cameras. The lack of 4K has held me back until now. The closest other option is the ThumbPro but no internal battery is a hassle. Pick me and maybe I can connect and film you in Japan surfing? Families can connect!

My boyfriend uses wandrd camera bags! not sure if it's European only...

It's going to be super humid so sandals were a life saver! Also definitely buy a light weight sun umbrella, i rec waterfront from don qui. The umbrella shade is so helpful when you want to wear something stylish n not just breathable

Consider a video about it? Also you made me miss CA in this video. I moved to West Texas 6 years ago and the things I miss the most about CA, are in this video. The hiking, beach, landscapes overall, and of course In-N-Out! I’m trying that Onion Dutchman in my next trip there during Thanksgiving. Nd by the way, spot on description of Wing Stop fries. Oh God this was me when i went back to Taiwan, i think i took 8 cameras lol which is very similar to your entire setup. i love my MJU ii :) But yeah i was the same, i found a reason why i should bring each camera hahahaha but this next trip i will only bring 2 & become more minimalist as its a pain to over think what camera to use each day. Love the vids, your authentic vibe, I am excited to see what you create in Japan!!! Also try not to worry to much about content that you forget to have the quality time in the moment esp with your partner.

I live in san diego too. It's a nice city to live in. There's a heatwave right now across the country, and it stays pretty much in the mid 70s where i live. I love san diego weather.

I am turning 38 this year and my husband is also a nurse, I am in San Diego, and I just literally left my 15 year copywriting career yesterday to go all in on video. The difference between you and me is that I’ve been holding onto this dream for 20 years and I’m just starting, where you already have so many great videos under your belt. I wanted to start video in high school, because I wasn’t seeing faces that look like ours on screens. Now, I am so grateful to have found you!
